Système anti-noyade Angeleye Lifeguard

AngelEye Lifeguard est une solution innovante, faisant appel à la très haute technologie, afin de prévenir les accidents par noyade dans les piscines publiques.

Nouveaux gilets de sauvetage gonflables et accessoires indispensables pour la saison 2013.

Secumar sera sur le Nautic de Paris du 8 au 16 décembre 2012 dans le Hall 2.1. C68.

L’ULTRA RACER est le tout nouveau modèle dans la gamme des gilets SECUMAR de la catégorie 150N, et vient compléter les gilets particulièrement plats de la série ULTRA.
Fabriquée dans un tissu résistant, la housse de protection de couleur gris/noir est fermée par une fermeture Éclair.
La fenêtre de regard permet de visualiser l’état de fonctionnement du percuteur et la présence d’une cartouche de CO2 pleine. Une poche d’accès avec zip facilite le changement de la cartouche et de la pastille de cellulose en cas de besoin.

Sea Tow Foundation to hold life jacket photo contest on Facebook

The Sea Tow Foundation wants to see more boaters wearing life jackets while having fun on or in the water. Starting today, the Foundation will hold a month-long online photo contest for a chance to win one of 30 Revere ComfortMax Manual inflatable life jackets, valued at $155 each, along with the grand prize of a one-year Sea Tow Gold Card Membership. To enter the Sea Tow Foundation Life Jacket Photo Contest, all participants need to do is submit a photo of themselves and/or their friend(s) wearing a life jacket via the Sea Tow Foundation’s Facebook* page. Photo entries will be accepted from October 1-31, 2012, and online voting for the photos will be held from November 1-30, 2012.

New Argentinean Survival Suit a Boon for Merchant Sailors

The Pilmic company, an Argentinean based safety concern tell us it has come up with the ultimate in immersion suits and has received approval for the product from the Prefectura Naval Argentina (PNA) effectively the country’s coast guard service and part of the interior and national security defence systems. The suit certainly appears to offer a high value safety option for merchant and private sailors and the like particularly in regions where hypothermia presents a very real hazard.

A video of the suit in action can be seen HERE and shows not only its ability to float in the traditional position with the wearer on his or her back but demonstrates, despite it’s obvious bulkiness out of water, the suit’s ability to enable swimming either on back or front, the possibility to simply ‘stand’ upright in the water and float vertically and the transparent plastic ‘tent’ which can be worn whilst eating, drinking or simply lying back.

Lifejacket developed for fishermen
