Regatta, launches new visual identity

In November 2011 Regatta, the Norwegian manufacturer of buoyancy aid and lifejackets, will launch a new visual identity. The well known « R » is still visible in the new symbol, and the logo has a distinctive, classic styled signature.

Regatta has been a well known trademark since the 1960’s and the logo designed in 70’s has been relatively unchanged until today.

Finding a new visual identity has been an important process, focusing on Regatta’s history and values, creating a new and exciting visual platform for the future.

In addition to the production of lifejackets, Regatta experience a growing demand for floatation garment, where design and colors reflect the trends and fashion in general. The new symbol may appear both as a logo for the brand Regatta and as a design element in various forms. The Regatta product range is well known worldwide and give people the opportunity to be safe at sea both in a recreational and a professional context. This is a great motivation for the Regatta Team and gives inspiration to develop new and exciting products for our customers. We are proud of our history and welcome the future.
